To provide quality returns to our partners by managing oil and gas assets efficiently and safely. It is our goal to grow production and increase reserves through production purchases and development drilling while focusing on optimizing production and reducing operating expenses.

About Us

Beginning in 1986, Cypress Operating has grown to operate 100+ oil and gas wells in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. Based in Shreveport, LA, our focus is on maintaining low-cost operations across the Ark-La-Tex region. We seek opportunities to purchase producing assets where we can leverage our expertise to provide significant returns to our investors.

In 2009, Cypress began investing as a non-operating partner in the Haynesville Shale across Northwest Louisiana. Since that time, we have established working relationships with nearly every operator in the play and have acquired over 7,500 HBP acres in key geologic areas that are ready for continued development.

Cypress is involved in the Shreveport community supporting Shreveport Wildcatters’ Association, Volunteers of America – North Louisiana, Red Cross of America, Sci-Port Children’s Museum, and the Ark-La-Tex Oilman’s Golf Association.
